2014 Volkswagen Passat TDI Bi Turbo. For 2014, Volkswagen is ready with new weaponry. The German manufacturer has to make change for the better by bringing Bi turbo TDI engine technology. With this new engine is ready to compete with VW’s other competitors in the first half of 2014. Not easy to do to start something new, but VW has committed to bringing these technologies in the latest variant of the Passat.
VW has just launched the all new MQB platform, and one of the first vehicles of the future that will be supported technology is the Passat. Variants of this model will be larger than the current generation and while it will maintain their identity. There is a displacement model, the CC will be transferred to the class that is placed between the Passat and the Phaeton. Producers hope they are ready to introduce Coupe version and Convertibel.
The new engine technology biTDI (bi-turbo TDI) diesel VW Passat in later offers power up to 200 Hp. Another important novelty is the plug-in hybrid version using the unit with a capacity of 1.4 liter turbocharged petrol and electric motors, with a combined output of 170 hp and an electric range of only 50 km. VW also offers a turbocharged petrol unit (TSIs) to the ratio of the power capacity of 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0 liters, with outputs ranging between 130 and 250 hp.
