"Honda New Small Concept is a concept model of a new small-sized vehicle, which Honda is developing especially for India and other emerging nations," the company's Indian subsidiary Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) said in a statement. The Tenth Auto Expo, 2010, begins January 5.
In addition to the new small concept, the company will exhibit the CR-Z Concept 2009, a concept model for a new hybrid model, which was unveiled for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show in October.
"At Honda, we believe in constant innovation to offer advanced technology that not only makes our cars fun to drive but also addresses the ever-increasing concern about the environment," HSCI Director (Sales & Marketing) Tatsuya Natsume said, adding the displays would focus on bringing alive the spirit of dynamism.
Besides the concept cars, Honda will showcase its humanoid Robot, ASIMO and a special display zone, Design Corner, that will provide a glimpse of the elements involved in designing a car from scratch. The company will also present an engine section that highlights the advances made by Honda in engine technology, along with the refreshed range of vehicles that it sells in India, including sedans City 1.5 V, Civic, Accord V6 and SUV CR-V.
